My wedding song list – ungoing edit!

My list has no particular order, just whatever comes into mind.
1. Who can resist Ed Sheeran’s Thinking Out Loud? The lyrics alone makes you want to find the guy who’d say something like;

And, darling, I will be loving you ’til we’re 70. And, baby, my heart could still fall as hard at 23. And I’m thinking ’bout how people fall in love in mysterious ways. Maybe just the touch of a hand. Well, me—I fall in love with you every single day and I just wanna tell you I am..

2. Not much of a Twilight fan but hey, Christina Perri’s A Thousand Years is absolutely in my list! Lyrics is kinda like when the girl is about to walk down the aisle on her wedding day.

“Time stands still beauty in all she is. I will be brave, I will not let anything take away what’s standing in front of me. Every breath, every hour has come to this. One step closer. “

3. Okay, I never did watch The Fault in Our Stars but I did not miss the original soundtrack of the movie. Absolutely fab! Charlie XCX’s Boom Clap is another fave. It’s been a while so I kinda forgot, does the heart really make that boom clap?

“Boom clap! The sound of my heart, the beat goes on and on and on and on and.. Boom clap! You make me feel good, come on to me come on to me now.”

4. It’s not just me, I know, but of course this song is not missing my list. John Legend’s All of Me has got that classic lyrics that just never gets old.

“‘Cause all of me loves all of you. Love your curves and all your edges, all your perfect imperfections. Give your all to me I’ll give my all to you. You’re my end and my beginning, even when I lose I’m winning. Cause I give you all of me and you give me all of you.”

5. Ellie Goulding’s How Long Will I Love You is another fave! Did you ever ask yourself how long will you love him indeed?

“How long will I love you? As long as stars are above you and longer if I can. How long will I need you? As long as the seasons need to follow their plan.”

Of course, I just can’t have 5 songs on Repeat on my wedding day so I’m definitely adding more every time I bump into a song worth adding to this list. Getting hitched to someone for life is definitely more than a risk but what the heck, he might just be worth it!
